That Old Quiet Lighthouse are a Manchester band who bring together indie, emo and folk. Their new single, ‘Monkey Mind’, is a gentle, beautiful track that adds something uplifting into the emo sound. It is presented as an acoustic ballad led by lyric-forward call and response vocals between frontman Ashley Garrod and guest vocalist Sanja Cin, which bursts into joyous life in its final moments. “Lyrically I became inspired just by what being artistically vulnerable with Sanja in a space felt like, the first line inspired partially by one of my favourite songs of Sanja’s - ‘Golden’ -  and the colour of the chair I was sat in as we wrote it - a golden throne (of sorts!) in which I write most of my songs.” The new album from That Old Quiet Lighthouse is This Is What I Live For, which drops on November 7th, 2025. -Dan Peeke
